Nail Plate Studio Policies

 

Please do not come to your appointment sick. Your service will be terminated if you show signs of sickness.

Payments and Refunds

  • Payment is due upon completion of service. Cash, cards, and Apple/Samsung Pay are accepted. Cards are preferred.

  • A card must be used during booking in case of no shows. We are unable to charge appointments to this card.

  • There are no refunds at Nail Plate Studio. If you are unhappy with your nails, please mention it during your service so we can adjust your nails to your liking.


No Shows/Lateness/Cancellations

  • Please cancel at least 6 hours ahead of your appointment to avoid a charge. This can be done via your booking confirmation or text or email.

  • Late cancellations are subject to a 50% fee.

  • Please arrive on time or early for your appointment. Be prepared for NYC traffic, parking delays, construction/road closures, and public transport delays.

  • There is no grace period for lateness. Any lateness will be deducted from the time you booked. You are still responsible for the full cost of the booked time at a higher rate. Any additional time used will be billed at the full price.

  • Late clients will now be billed at $100 per hour. Appointments will be cancelled at the 15 minute mark even with late notice.

  • You will receive a appointment confirmation 2 days prior to your appointment. You will also receive a reminder 8 hours before; please note your appointment time and date.

  • No shows are subject to 100% of the service cost.

  • No shows must prepay for any future appointments.

  • Late clients and no shows forfeit any applicable discounts.

  • Excessive lateness or late cancellations will require deposits for future appointments.

  • You are considered a no show if you arrive 15+ minutes late even with notice and your appointment will be cancelled.

  • I reserve the right to deny service to frequent late clients.

Service Policy

  • Nail Plate Studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate the service to anyone.

  • Please come to your appointment with clean nails. Nail brushes are available for you to scrub under your nails.

  • Please do not come to your appointment sick, even if it is “just a cold.”

  • Unfortunately, we must refuse service to anyone with signs of fungal infections or contagious conditions including but not limited to open wounds/sores, warts, and athlete’s foot.

  • Nail fixes are complimentary within 3 days of your appointment. Any adjustments after that time period are subject to a small fee.

  • Rude, racist, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
